Extramural Activities
Together with my colleague, Andy Clayden, I am in private partnership, with a range of current projects including urban park regeneration and private gardens. I am a regular contributor to gardening and horticultural magazines.
I am a visiting professor on ecological planting on the European MA in Landscape Architecture, Dessau, Germany. I am external examiner, Certificate in Sustainable Garden Design, University of Newcastle and a member of the editorial board, Journal of Practical Ecology and Conservation.
I speak regularly at conferences and meetings. Presentations have included:
